i adore the fact that I still have this blog. i enjoy writing so much and now with being out of school, i don't get to write nearly as much as i like. being out of school is kind of like re-learning your life.
the whole christian/God thing has been a big question mark in my head for a long time. i have so many questions. And although I don't feel closer to the answer on any of the questions, i do feel a sense of calm. something telling me its going to be alright. i don't have to worry or be afraid. landon and i want to start going back to church soon. he told me something the other day that just made me feel better than i already did.
landon told me the story in the bible about the men that were told if they worked for the man, that they would earn one days wages. the boss man kept going back out and asking more men to come work for him and that he would pay them a days wages. each man he asked to work for him, worked less hours than the men he asked before them, but they all got paid the same amount of money at the end of the day. The men who had worked the longest weren't happy with this...as can be expected. Landon said that he feels God was telling him through that, that no matter who has been doing the "Christian thing" and no matter how long they have been doing it...God loves them no more or less than he loves us. It doesn't matter when someone becomes a Christian...if it was just yesterday or their whole life. He loves them just the same.
It blew me away. I have such an amazing future husband. He blows me away with things like this almost on a daily basis. He's fantastic and I look up to him so much. I don't know what I would do without him.
